Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications is a global provider of mobile multimedia devices and are very aware of using design as an integrated part of the products. Design as in user-friendly applications, innovative materials and, of course, attractive visual appearance.
In the summer of 2007 Sony Ericsson asked MEC Access and GMTN to conceptualize and design the expo material for the launch of a new series of mobile phones: Tthe walkman series and the cyber shot camera series.
The idea was to integrate design with spatial experience, play and involving marketing. What better way than meeting people at events and music festivals, having them play with the mobile solutions through complete flat panel TV’s, photo stations, printers, lightning and laptops.
To finish off the complete the mobile marketing package, sets of lounge furniture were designed for Sony Ericsson´s on the road campaign for their new mobile phones.
