• Time and hygiene is of the essence when medical personnel need to secure free respiratory passages for resuscitation or surgery. However, intubation instruments are quite expensive - around 15 000 Euro - which is a lot of money for many medical services. Consequently many departments and clinics have to do without these lifesaving instruments.
Another downside is the fact that the instruments are reusable. This sounds like a good thing but the thorough cleaning and disinfection process required to prevent cross-contamination is extremely costly.

Ambu® aScope™ is a perfect example of life saving design that reaches beyond “just” the functional by taking the aesthetics of hospital equipment to a higher level. By creating a design that combines recognizable modern design from our daily lives with the rationality and reliability associated with medical instruments, Ambu A/S takes a unique position in the market by being the manufacturer of lifesaving products that builds a bridge between modern aesthetics and functionality.
  • Life saving equipment for every one!
In collaboration with AMBU, Goodmorning created the Ambu® aScope™ which offers a safe and flexible intubation scope for viewing endotracheal intubation via the oral and nasal route. The single-patient-use makes repairs and cleaning unnecessary and eliminates sources of cross contamination.

The Ambu® aScope™ uses new camera technology, has a lightweight ergonomic handle and the monitor´s intuitive and simple interface displays the video signal.

The system costs approximately 300 Euro which makes the aScope significantly more affordable than that of alternative products and a cost-effective solution for departments and clinics of all sizes and budgets.
